The main water sport in Lesotho is Trout Fishing. Being located in the mountains and blessed with continuous rains almost throughout the year, the country has numerous rivers and streams with a lot of Trout.

Indeed there is probably more Trout fishing available here than in most of the rest of the world. It is recommended that Anglers take a trip to the Mountain kingdom and enjoy a week of fishing. It is also suggested that any visitors staying at any of the lodges near the dams try the Trout offered for lunches and dinners.

There is a move to permit more water sports in the dams that form a part of the LHWP, and in time private boats, water skiing, and other sports will be permitted.
 
Alternatively, why not just swim in the cool, clear and clean rivers and streams of Lesotho? Visitors will be assured of an exhilarating experience.
