The team at Destination Lesotho is led by its founder and majority shareholder, Mntungwa Morojele.

Mntungwa was born in Johannesburg. He undertook his primary school studies in Maseru and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He went on to complete his secondary schooling in Mbabane, Swaziland, and in Reading, Berkshire in the United Kingdom. He completed his academic studies in Farnborough, Hampshire in the United Kingdom (Higher National Diploma), Charleston, West Virginia, USA (B Sc), Washington DC, USA (M Sc) and Cape Town, South Africa (MBA). Mntungwa is also a Chartered Accountant with the Lesotho Institute of Accountants.

 

 

His career of some 22 years commenced with 7 years with the auditing firm of KPMG (Lesotho) (1986 - 1993). He then joined Gray Security Services and was with the group for 6 years before leaving in 1999. He had been appointed a Director in 1997. In 2001 he established Briske Performance Solutions, and Executive Search and Recruitment Company and grew this business for 3 years. In 2005, he joined Lesedi Travel, a subsidiary of the Tourism Investment Corporation (Tourvest) in South Africa, as its Managing Director and left the group at the end of 2008.
